Check out Episode 2 of Killer Friends, our zombie comedy web series!

Back in March, Gray Hour was tapped to produce a pilot for a webseries called Killer Friends. Written by Jessica Charles, the comedy-horror series follows the misadventures of a group of 20-somethings, who, during a long night of drinking, somehow find themselves in the middle of the zombie apocalypse. We felt it was a story everyone could relate to, so naturally we were happy to jump on board.

The reaction was overwhelmingly positive, with the pilot making it to the top of Funny or Die’s homepage. People wanted more, and you can’t deny the hungry masses of comedy zombies. Of course, booze and beer are expensive (especially in New York City). Thus, a Kickstarter campaign was launched to aid in the production of the next episodes to ensure that Killer Friends could be the comedic gore-fest that fans deserved. Fans of the pilot pulled through, fully funding the project, ensuring another two episodes of head-smashing action.

We’re incredibly proud of the final product, and we’re grateful of the support it received. Thankfully, there’s more Killer Friends in the pipeline, but until then, we hope you enjoy episode 2!
